The tea ceremony (engagement ceremony) is the traditional part of a wedding, in which Adam’s family basically buys Thảo. Dowry (gifts) will be handed over by the groom’s family, through his carriers (friends), to the bride’s family, through her carriers. It will take place at the bride’s family home. We will wear traditional clothes (áo dài), drink tea, put the engagement ring on and chit chat.
